The Ferrari Challenge Australasia Round 4 revved up at Sydney Motorsport Park June 28-29 with Cameron Campbell showing really sharp pace. After strong qualifying on the front row, he battled for a podium finish in Race 1 but was sidelined from Race 2 due to a pre-race spin.
Race 1 – Confident and Controlled
Cameron qualified second on the grid and converted that front-row start into a P2 finish in the Trofeo Pirelli class, holding off intense pressure from rivals and securing valuable championship points. His clean, consistent drive proved he’s a serious threat in the Pro-Am ranks.
Race 2 – A Weekend Cut Short
Momentum was halted on Sunday when a pre-race incident forced Cameron to withdraw before the start of Race 2. It was a frustrating end to a weekend that promised more, especially after his strong Saturday performance.
Despite the DNS in Race 2, Cameron’s performance in Qualifying and Race 1 reinforces his standing in the top tier of the Pro-Am class. He continues to sit third in the series points and remains firmly in the fight.
Next Stop: The Bend Motorsport Park
The Ferrari Challenge heads to The Bend in South Australia for Round 5 — a high-speed, technical circuit where Cameron will be aiming to bounce back, build more momentum and reclaim more ground in the championship.
